The key to Support Products` Ink Leveler is simplicity. With no electronics to be fouled by the pressroom environment, our easily installed, low maintenance Ink Leveler does not require highly specialized service personnel. Its low profile means there`s no interference with roller changes or adjustments. Reliability is the reason customers buy from us again and again. The large valve orifice provides twice as much ink flow capacity as our competitors, allowing operation at lower pressure, thus reducing ink shear while maintaining original tack.

Correcting Print Registration Problems

Support Products` Bustle Wheels correct print registration problems and are available either individually or in a Bustle Wheel System. Our Bustle Wheels are easily mounted, and include a simple screw adjustment for fingertip control. Our Air Bustle System, used when there is no gutter to run regular Bustle Wheels, corrects register fan out problems by creating a layer of air between the mechanical wheel and the web, which lifts the web creating a bustling effect. The Air Bustle System can be placed anywhere on the web without marking or tracking into the printed product.

Remote Pasting and Softening System

Support Products` remote pasting and softening system allows pasting and softening of signatures on web press folders and finishing lines. With make ready and spoilage reduction, this system increases efficiency and productivity. A small applicator assembly enables placement in the tightest locations. Almost any required positioning of the head is possible. Coarse or find adjustment of the head is controlled from the remote station. Options include a dripless system feature, dual tank assembly or a dual needle head assembly.

Programmable Glue System

This system can be used for dot application or line application depending on the user specifications. Our Programmable Glue System is comprises a controller, glue guns, glue supply components, and the machine interface components. Glue guns are available as a line nozzle or dot nozzle for contact or non-contact operation with speeds up to 600 cycles per second.

Press Equipment

Other press equipment products from Support Products include goosenecks to assist in plow folding and eliminating wrinkles; packing gauges designed to span the swollen blanket edge and prevent misreadings; blanket gauges to quickly and accurately measure blanket-plus-packing thickness on press; fountain dividers providing an economical alternative to a traditional divider; and web pullers to tend the web while the press is in operation at thread speed.
