Help us make you look great. Our graphic designer has a few simple guidelines for sending in artwork to be used on your order, whether it’s a promotional marketing product or something regular. Please read and feel free to write back to us with questions and comments. These are tips for submitting artwork.
Silkscreen Printing, Foilstamping
Contact your account manager for a product layout showing the exact dimensions of your silkscreen printing, foilstamping products. Provide us with camera ready art. Boards should be professionally created to size with color separations in black and white. Always indicate a PMS color on each overlay.
If sending us computer art, we will need to send the disc to an output service. Please note that there is an additional charge for this service. We will provide you with a quotation upon receipt of the artwork. If you prefer to send us negatives, they should be emulsion down. If your design includes tight registration, please contact our graphics manager before laying out your art. He will offer suggestions on preparing your art.
Designs that contain tints or halftones should be submitted to us for approval. Our standard line screen is 85 lpi, using an elliptical dot at a 45 degree angle. We highly recommend a screen proof. Some applications may not allow for bleeds. Please check with your account manager when your design calls for a bleed. When choosing colors, keep in mind that light and bright colors do not always cover well on dark materials. It is a good idea to request a screen proof when color matches are critical.
