Our document output management software, PLOSSYS® netdome provides and distributes documents and information for print and electronic distribution, from all sources by using uniform standards and processes. PLOSSYS® netdome is easy to administer and usable by all users. This document output management software accepts all data formats from all company-wide applications: CAD, Office, digital archives, DMS, PLM architecture, ERP, text, raster, and hybrid data. PLOSSYS® netdome is used by more than 500 companies worldwide which include midsize companies and global operating corporations.

The document management system of the SAP standard or SAP software is a well suited module for the administration of product related data and documents. SEAL Systems has developed extensive solutions for mySAP® for the easy and economic document distribution. Among these there are interactive and automated document providing procedures for all application cases, including process oriented solutions for production, procurement and maintenance with ordered output.

Document output management software from SEAL Systems controls and enables printing, plotting, reproduction, distribution and publication of documents on paper, data media or by digital methods. Besides the electronic distribution, the document output management solutions from SEAL Systems, support all printers and plotters of all manufacturers, brands and models. SEAL Systems offers various conversion programs for your individual requirements. gXconvert, ConvertWIZ and the applications converter allow easy and economical conversions.

The SAP software from SEAL Systems helps digitalize technical documents through its scan-on-demand capabilities. On demand scanning with the SEAL Systems Scan Client is convenient. The request originates from the print function. The scan list client controls the digitalization. The scanned documents are linked to the waiting requests and automatically checked into the SAP DMS. This is how the subsequent capture in the SAP software occurs: First a document index is created in the SAP DMS. A barcode is then printed and attached to the document. The document is scanned, and then the barcode is identified and evaluated. The result is then checked in automatically to the existing document record in SAP DMS.

As for synchronous capture, during the document records creation, the scan interface is activated and the document is then scanned and attached to the record. The SAP software from SEAL Systems allows:

Our SAP software supports the SAP conversion transactions with RFC technology: Installed, configured, and tested. During Conversion documents can also be stamped and/or watermarked with any information or graphic. This includes but is not limited to SAP data and company logos, release information, and more.

Graphic formats and long term formats accepted are PDF, TIFF, HPGL, CALS, PostScript, JPEG, BMP, GIF, etc. As for application formats, they are – Office: DOC, XLS, PPT; Publishing: FrameMaker, Corel Draw; CAD: AutoCAD, ProE, UG, SolidEdge, Inventor, SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.

DMS Loader, ABAP: This variant is a SAP software program with enhanced functions for linking and loading objects and classifications.

Application data like Office or CAD formats are not necessarily good for long term storage. Through version, configuration and workstation dependency, content and layout original application data is not always the best archival format. For this reason Digital Paper is the preferable media. Proven long term formats are TIFF and PDF. SEAL Systems products support the creation of Digital Paper from original formats used to store data in SAP software.

This offers a full process chain with many configurable services like page collation or splitting, stamping and generation of additional formats.

Document Distribution And Management Software

SAP document distribution and management software from SEAL Systems now have been linked together more effectively. Within the scope of one of the biggest PLM Architecture projects, enhancements for the SAP software standard were implemented, which enable integrated usage of solutions from SEAL Systems and the SAP software distribution functions. We have developed a series of structure-dissolving standard methods: research and output of order documents, production orders or bill of material

These lists can be transferred to the SAP document distribution and management software. Here the user chooses the recipient and the appropriate distribution method. SAP document distribution and management software methods are used as well as methods from SEAL Systems. By using SAP document distribution and management software methods, documents with and without original files are sent by SAP Office or email. DMS Repro distribution methods start the generation of an output order in the module DMS Repro GUI from SEAL Systems.

In the project, SAP software implemented some extensions for document distribution, which cancels some limitations of document distribution and management software. Additionally there were userexits employed, which realised connections to the DMS Repro procedures. Within the dialog ``Start distribution,`` the input readiness of documents and recipient list can be controlled. After actions in the dialog ``Start distribution`` and actually at distribution start, the call of userexits is done. With these methods it is possible to call dialogs for input of output parameters before the start of the distribution.

Document Distribution And Management Software With Easy Viewing, Printing

Easy DMS is a Windows interface for the SAP document management system DMS. Standard user interactions are now more interactively usable. Thus, the SAP DMS is now better accessible for casual users. Within the frame of actual customer projects, SEAL Systems has made available existing solutions for proper document distribution and management software as well document output for Easy DMS. DMS View is a method for visualization of stamps and water marks at viewing of TIFF and/or PDF files. With the server version for DMS View (product code DMS-VWS) it is now possible to use this ``stamp-before-view`` functionality in the Easy DMS context. For this, Version 3.0 of Easy DMS is necessary.

The standard PLM architecture integrations available from SEAL Systems are continuously enhanced. Now a new link from the document output management software, PLOSSYS® netdome, to the PDM solution, ENOVIA LCS, has been implemented. ENOVIA LCA from Dassault Systems is mainly used for the administration of model data in connection with CATIA V5 and is rounded off with its extensive 3D and collaborative engineering functions. SEAL Systems has implemented an interface for document management in cooperation with Dassault Systems and Cenit AG. For output, as well as document distribution and management software, a document list with the standard search functions is queried directly from the LCA workplace and delivered to the Print Assignment Dialog (PAD) of PLOSSYS® netdome. PAD allows the input of distribution parameters and the subsequent transfer to the PLOSSYS® server.

With the new Workflow Connector, all important functions for the generation and processing of output and distribution jobs through document distribution and management software interface can be simply integrated into customer-specific workflow solutions. Within complex release and distribution tasks, process steps, like the generation and output of plot orders and recipient lists, can be automated and recorded by the workflow. Necessary activities by hand, e.g. the completion and processing of plot order parameters, can be role-based inserted and addressed.

By using SAP software, workflows distribution processes, and document distribution and management software become significantly safer and more transparent through enhanced understandability and protocol. Extensive, adjustable filter functions and selection criteria enable the correct identification of the needed documents. The transactions can be used interactively or can be integrated into SAP software processes. As an enhancement, a mixture of SAP software print output and document output in correct sequence is available. The solution requires the standard application DMS Repro from SEAL Systems, which has been used in mySAP® PLM solutions more than 200 times worldwide.
