We also feature chlorine free papers. Chlorine Free means the paper was bleached, using Hydrogen Peroxide or Oxygen. This form of bleaching will not cause DIOXINS. Dioxins, mixed with other chemicals causes cancer, pollutes our water and causes undo problems with our fish and wildlife.
Cascades/Rolland notified us that they have sucessfully introduced another 100% PCW grade that is certified for both post-consumer and chlorine free content. This new grade, Rolland Enviro, comes in 23 x 35 and 25 x 38, and in web rolls for book publishing and large brochure work.
Also, Rolland/Cascades just announced that my number one selling paper to the government through their GSA Web Site, New Life DP, has been upgraded to 100% post-consumer waste recycled/100% processed chlorine free.
The government has allowed us to bid in the 100% PCW markets when New Life DP was 80% PCW, since this line had third party certification, and now that it is 100% PCW, New Life DP should be the number 1 selling 100/100 20# grade. No other 100/100 line has the third party certification from The Chlorine Free Products Association.
We will continue to sell blank copier paper, letterhead, text, cover and envelopes, as long as the minimum order is a combined 4 reams or boxes.
Digitally, we specialize in short run brochures, with quantities of 100-500 being the most popular, and brochures with small quantities and a lot of pages. We have a full bindery on premises. We print postcards and greeting cards and those rush flyers needed for a last minute trade show. We can assemble the contents that go into 3 ring binders and wiro bound books, for those jobs needed for trade shows, etc. All the paper and printing is environmentally sound.
I usually encourage my clients to run digital on orders up to 500 sheets per form, and I then I start figuring our larger sheet fed presses on orders running more than 500 sheets per form.
We run most 4 color business card orders digitally. Even 2 colors jobs converted to CMYK and ,if necessary, color corrected in photo shop, can be printed at lower prices than on our 2 color offset presses. We are able to print 24 lots of business cards on our 13 x 20 sheet size. If you have 4 names to print, at 500 cards per name, which means we need to print only approximately 85 sheets through our press. Our prices for business cards are low, when you have larger runs, and a lot of names to print.
Also, if you can combine business cards with postcards, using the same paper, I can put them together for a substantial savings.
For flyers and light weight brochures, we specialize in running them on 100% post-consumer recycled papers, coated recycled paper, denim blue jean reclaimed cotton, and blended tree free papers using Kenaf and Hemp. Many of these grades are chlorine free.
For those clients that need matte, dull or gloss coated, we stock all weights and finishes. Our lines are recycled and many are chlorine free.
NEW ITEM: WE ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE TERRASKIN(tm).
TerraSkin(tm) is a tree-free, chlorine free, paper made of minerals, which will degrade back into it's source, the powder of stone. We realize the paper business is a big culprit in deforestation, and we think that sometimes a tree free paper is a better option.
Terraskin(tm) has incredible printing capabilities, while using 20-30% less ink. We print only with environmentally friendly inks on this grade as well as our other lines.
TerraSkin can be used to replace tyvek type orders, as this grade is hard to rip and is waterproof, and prints like a coated sheet of paper. Upscale shopping bags, printed sharply in 4 colors, and needing that extra strength and durability make this a grade one you will want to price out, versus the grades presently being used for durable print projects.
Called Variable Data Mailings, by some people, we can take your data base and tailor your mailings as finite as you need.
We can set this up and run as many variables as you desire. Our Igen3 press is becoming the #1 digital press on the market today. Our quality is terrific. You can't tell the difference between conventional offset printing and our digital printing. I offer both, and I can't believe the advances in our digital presses.
We sell a lot of printing on our 100% PCW paper, using one of our stocked paper colors, for stationary orders, printed in 1 or 2 soy based color inks.
Tree Free Denim, and printed in a dark blue ink or any dark color ink, is still one of my favorites. I intend to run my own stationary on Denim shortly.
I also make 9 x 12 pocket folders, and matching envelopes to most of our stationary lines.
To my die heart tree free advocates that are disappointed that many tree free lines have been discontinued, I want to inform you that the Rainforest Alliance considers 100% post-consumer waste a suitable 2nd generation tree free paper, as there are no new trees used. Only all post-consumer waste is re-used. As we handle 5 major 100% post-consumer waste paper lines, please consider this viable alternatve.
The Tree Free Market is seriouly hurt by Crane Company dropping out from making Hemp, Kenaf, Old Money and Denim. We have many of their lines in stock, and we have secured another Tree Free Denim Mill. That item continues to be a big seller with us.
We carry this line in 24#, 28#, and cover weight.
We just ran a digital run on our Igen3 press on the cover weight for business cards, and the test was extremely successful. The non toxic toner inks fuse into the hills and valleys of this uncoated paper and the result is terrific.
I look forward to working with you.
