GT Vision Released

Sales Analysis
GT Vision is one component of an executive summary overview provided by Globe-Tek to give a better visual presentation of historical data to allow comparisons of period ranges for yearly analysis.

Sales portfolio management
GT Vision offers:

• Ability to define unlimited sales portfolios. A sales portfolio can consist of orders for multiple customers.
• Ability to include quotes in sales portfolios which will be represented with graphics icons.
• Once a set of quotes are included in a sales portfolio, all OELs that are used to book any estimates within those quotes are within the portfolio and are represented with an icon.
• All jobs that are linked to estimates either directly or through an OEL are within the scope of the portfolio as graphic icons.
• All OELs that pick stock from jobs or added to jobs that are within the portfolio are included as graphic icons.
• All deliveries that are linked to jobs that are within the portfolio are visible as graphic icons.
• All invoices, credit notes and payments that are linked to jobs and OELs within the portfolio are included as graphic icons.
• All RMAs linked to OELs within the portfolio are included as graphic icons.
• Statuses of the estimate, OELs, Jobs, deliveries, and invoices are all visible in graphic format.
• Job progress and estimate statuses are visible in graphics format.

Graphic display of sales portfolio progress is available. Progress can be defined in terms of percentage FG delivered, estimating progress, percentage invoiced, percentage invoice paid, percentage material returned, etc.

GT Enterprise Overview

Versatile
Designed to permit each company to structure the parameters that will address its unique requirements: Operations, terminology and units of measure (UOM) are totally user definable. Where appropriate, all material/FG are displayed in two UOM. Any number of UOM can be linked to a material type, which allows the user to convert from one UOM to another.

Intergrated
Information is shared among all modules, thereby guaranteeing the quality and integrity of the information. That provides efficient, accurate data and work flows, and dramatically reduces human resource time by eliminating duplicate data entry and providing data consistency.

Easy to learn and use
All functions and procedures required to operate GT Enterprise are consistent throughout. When a user learns the functions of one module, they can apply the same procedures to the complete system. This minimizes education and accelerates your system startup.

At time of order entry CSR can see at a glance which job(s) have available stock and quantity. The information is displayed in a descending order by job date.

The integration of all GT Enterprise modules delivers to the user up-to-date financial information at a bare minimum of human resource time. Many of the traditional functions are performed by the application very efficiently in the background. Time required to process customer and supplier invoice is a fraction of what more traditional software applications require. The financial officer of a customer had this to say:``When we started with Globe-Tek we did about $35 million in sales and had four employees in our accounting department. Today we do over $125 million and we still have only four employees in accounting. GT Enterprise: Web Access

Increase customer satisfaction by implementing Web Access. Using a web browser, your customers will be able to check the status of their Jobs, Finished Goods inventory, Deliveries, and any other information you want to give them access to.

The same website can be tailored to show different options to different people, depending on their authorization level. This means your offsite sales reps, for example, could view Job or Estimate costs and prices for all of their customers.

All the information in GT5`s Oracle 8i database can be displayed, which means that your website can be as simple or complex as you want it to be.

To generate an estimate that has clarity and reflects simply good business sense was the objective in the design of the GT Enterprise estimating module, which:

• is easy to use and has a great deal of intelligence built-in to take care of the obvious
• allows the user to estimate multiple parts (kit) to a job and multiple quantities in a simple, straight forward, structure
• lists all extra and/or additional charges in a clear, concise manner along with the relationship they have on cost, price and profit
• allows you to estimate hundreds of images individually, linked to pages, linked to signatures
• allows you to estimate multiple versions of a product, as is frequently required in flexo or folding carton packaging
• draws from an unlimited database of Templates, Processes and Product Items to generate the most complex estimate in seconds
• allows you to create multiple quotation formats to meet the needs of the customers, or for a specific type of work
• allows you to pull in commonly used (standard) paragraphs to written quotations
• displays all prices in the domestic and foreign currency for foreign customers

During Book-In of an order, GT Enterprise automatically loads the job routing in all the required Cost Centers, based on the priority assigned to the job. The status of the job is dynamically updated from shopfloor data collection and the user can see at a glance if material is on hand.

The efficient management of raw material and finished goods has substantial financial benefits to any company. Let us quote the MIS manager of one of our customers: "When we started with Globe-Tek we did about $35 million in sales and we had an average of about $2.5 million in paper stock on hand. Today we do over $125 million in sales and we have an average of $1.5 million in paper stock on hand. We could have never achieved this efficiency without GT Enterprise." • Globe-Tek maintains a perpetual inventory control system with on-line information.
• Each transaction is recorded, including Requisitions, Purchases, Receipts, Usage and Returns.
• Tracks raw materials, customer supplied stock, finished goods, supplies and spare parts.
• Stock can be tracked by lot number, roll number, carton or skid.
• Tracks stock in user-defined warehouses and bins.
• Items marked "Backflush" are auto-charged to job, based on estimated value.
